Unhappy Still see blue smoke at startup

guys I have installed my new turbos and I still see blue smoke at startup. It lasts for 2 minutes, but it doesnt come in large amounts and its not dark blue at all, lets put it this way, you cant see it from inside the car through the rear view mirror, but if i stand at the back of the car I can see it coming out. Now before you guys making any assumptions I dont have any catalytic converters on the car, so can it be just that there is no cats and thats why its smoking like that? Turbos are fine there brand new, the oil pressure is normal on the stock gauge, and the oil dipstick has been checked periodically and the level hasnt dropped one bit, so whats causing the smoke? When I punch the throttle down hard I dont see any smoke, at night i punch it I get flame, one buddy said it comes out like a blue flame.

Suprakiller,

Recently I had our stock '94 jacked up at the rear for 2 days while I changed out the outer bushings in the rear toe links. After the job, the first time the car was started a LOT of blue smoke was out the tailpipe. But none at all since that original startup. I think the angle of the car caused oil to leak from the injector pump area into the engine over the 2 days. Is it possible your injector pump is putting out too much oil?

WHere can I locate the injector pump? is it visable from underneath the car or above? and if its the case? how much will it cost to replace?

My car is praimarily a track car so it doesn't always get driven frequently. If it has been a while I always get some smoke till it runs for a little bit. Normal? I don't know but it doesn't burn much oil so I accept it.

I wouldn't worry about it one bit. Its probably a combination of some very minor blowby past the oil control rings when the car is cold, oil leftover in the combustion chamber, and the fact that you have no cats and the OMP injects a lot of oil at startup. It sounds very light and pretty much what you should expect.
