Stalling with ac on and automatic transmission

Constant threat
I had the same problem and just simply kicked the idle up to 1000 - 1100 instead of the stock 800 rpm.
Maybe not the best solution but it worked.
But then again....my engine DID go blow....but like 3 years later. I bought my car in 2000, noticed the problem in the summer of '01, did the idle fix then and had no more problems until January of 2004 when I overboosted on cold night while making a hell-run.

Is your AC compressor clutch going bad, maybe dragging down the engine? any noises from the compressor? take the AC belt off and turn the AC on, stalling still? Could be the IAC idle control valve, plugged vacuum ports in the throttle body? Give it a throttle body service..
Sound like the idle isn't compensating itself when you come to a stop or the compressor is dragging.. Good luck.
