speedometer correction with 4.30 diff

Form my understanding the speedometer in the FD is a fully electronic speedo, meaning no speedo cable right?

Well suppose you were to upgrade the diff to the 99spec 4.30, is there any method you can go about to correct the spedometer rather than changing tire size?

If you are running stock sized tires it is off by 5.6%. I had 275/40/17 tires that were 3% taller than stock. Total error was 2.6%. Not really worth tinkering with IMHO.

Otherwise the V8 guys have a source for getting the speedo to work with different gearing so solutions are out there.

I would also like to know if something will work. I just changed to 4.3 gears and what a difference it made in my auto FD. Keep me posted!

Where may I ask can I get a complete 4.3 diff, instead of changing gears ?
