sparco hood pins

already serched forum with no answer

i just got a pair of sparco hood pins and i was looking at the screws and they are way too short to use the little back plates that come with the kit , so my question is to those that have them do you guys just use longer screws, no back plate or just use long bolts with washers. thanks

or if anyone has pictures post them please.

Since my CF hood has a gap between the top and the bottom where it has a reinforcement rib, I just used double sided tape to hold my hood pins on.
It has worked fine since doing it last October.

Ok I am getting a KS hood soon and was looking to get these hood pins are you saying there not long enough to to pass through the fender and go through the hood ? My buddy has one that goes through the fender hole and then has a washer / bolt and then of course the top end of the hood pin goes through the hood and the latch is there. Is this the bolt you are referring to ?
