You mean you don't have a spacer for your flywheel?
I think your friend is giving you misinformation. I recommend never to listen to him again!
Word of advice, there are ton of shitty information posted here on the forum. Its your job to figure out who you should listen to..

actually it depends on the design of the fly wheel (most are flat where the pressure plate mounts) not stepped like some of the domestic ones, and the amount removed from it. The only difference you might see is that the pressure plate is just a little further from the throw out bearing. If your fly wheel was that bad they would have told you they had to take too much off and recomend you purchasing a new one.

You should be fine. The worst thing you'll have to do is adjust the clutch rod on the clutch pedal. I'm guessing you'll need to lengthen it a tad.

ok sounds easy enough im glad a big relief off my shoulders. Will bleeding my clutch put pressure back into it? I let it leak out when i took the pull clutch off and now that i put it back on it has none. Sorry a little off the subject.

Once you get it back together you'll have to get help bleeding the system and get your pressure back. Just keep it topped off so you don't get air back into it. If all goes well you wont need to get a new master cylinder and slave. (they don't like working in the areas they've never been in)
