Somethings wrong.. like always

My fans turn on right when i turn the ignition on... i dont know what is causing this.. could be a bad relay.. or the turbo timer that was installed on the car before i bought it.. also how hard is it to remove that turbo timer...

my brand new red top battery seems to be losing its voltage when the car is off..something is draining the battery.. and im assuming its the turbo timer.. im doing a test right now on the car. .checking my voltage. i drove the car and im getting about 14.1 volts.. and when i shut off the car the car was at 12.4 volts and the fans were running. so i took off the positive on the battery and seeing if its just a bad battery that i bought (if the volts drop in the morning when i check)

if the volts are still good. .then something else is causing the volts to drop other than the stock alarm... anyone else run into this kind of problem..

the reason this is a problem is because its hard to start the car.

thanks everyone for the upcoming replies

open your diagnostic box under the hood. and look to see if any of the terminals are bridged with a wire or something. there is a terminal that if it is bridged with ground. it will turn the fan on everytime the ignition is on.. this isnt a bad idea though it will keep the car running cool. does it shut of after you turn the ignition off? if your battery is draining there may be another problem maybe your alternator. and if its not that and the car is just hard to start make sure the wires that go to your starter are all tight and clean. hope this helps you out in some way shape or form.

12.4v is not very low if the fans are running and the engine is not. I'd say normal.

Check the ECTS and wiring - if the ECTS isn't working right the fans will be always on.

Yeah, that's not right. Could be a bad relay also, but the battery might be shot from the discharging.
