Some questions about M2 intake.
I'm just wondering if I'm supposed to have any piping besides the piece that screws in the intake (the pipe that has the flat section attached). I bought it from a guy along with a FMIC and so I have lots of little pipes here and there and was going to trade my FMIC to another forum member and just needed to make sure I have parts segregated correctly. Thanks!

The M2 intake is basically just a box with some filters. THe Hard pipes that run from the intake to the turbos are extra.
BTW I'm not really sure what flat pipe you are referring to. The only one I can think of is the cross over pipe? Which if that's the case then no.

I was just talking to the aluminim piece that actually screws into the carbon fiber box with the pipe that you connect the air filter to. Probably wrong terminology but you get the idea. I just had a bunch of pipes that came in the same box from the FMIC I bought from the same guy and since I haven't installed any of it I just have everything together. I guess everything else is for the FMIC.
These are pipes that come out of the box.
So I take it this is all that the M2 intake kit consists of?

Interesting that the rear panel on your box looks to be modified. And yeah pretty much like I said, it's just a box with some filters.
FYI This is what the M2 box consists of

EDIT-
funny I was browsing another thread and stumbled upon this pic where you can clearly see the hardpipes
hope that this helps
