I want to know who the "chick" is who bought it. I have my suspicions.

I talked to UPS and they said I can make a claim and get the money back without the shipping invoice. If I can't get the money back for her this way, I'll take it back.

Maybe UPS dropped the package.

What a bunch of BS rationalizing!

Any time you get involved in doing business, especially over the Internet where the Buyer cannot inspect the goods prior to purchase, your goal must be "happy buyer and happy seller" period, no if's, and's, or buts!

It's clear that you never intended to take back the ECU even if the Buyer could prove the ECU was defective. I hope I never end up dealing with a seller like you.
did u read the whole story? she said the ECU does the same as hers...what are the odds of that?

I agree with merciless. If two different ECUs were making the car perform in a similar manner, I would rule out that your ECU is bad and most likely that her car is whacked.

Yeah, internet buying can become a nightmare in certain circumstances. But if you sold a product as you advertised, I see no reason why you shouldn't keep the money.

My vote (with the limited info from these posts) - I say do not return the money. Sleep tight.
