Sending your ecu and telling them what mod you have doesn't work. If you want I could set you up something here at T N R....Call me or text me when you could come down for a few hours...You could come down early Saturday and leave Saturday afternoon or Sunday Morning...Let me know..

i took the car to OH rx7 store i got all my parts from them

jason tuned it
car was feeling realy good responsive man i loved it....

came back with it... within first 1500miles i have changed gasket on manifold 3 times.... got sick of doing that and purchased another manifold from them fixed that problem...then i had another problem manifold moved a turbo lil bit and down pipe and mid pipe was not conecting right - fixed that to, by custom making a exhaust with vband flanges and at the same time routed the wastgate back in....never ending problems

car needs lil bit tune correction but it not to far off

i cant stop by NYC right now... got to much on my plate i just might garage it until next year

also low 11 afr at wot is about par for boosted vehicles now. but a 10 at idle is crazy rich, mine would idle in the high 11s and you could still see the grey smoke from the unburnt fuel.

Seems like a rash of these single turbo manifolds leaking. Nothing seals like good ol' cast iron, folks. Sometimes my "slow" BNR Stage 2s ain't so bad....

Serb, you missed DaveW' s question on the first page.

Depending on the plumbing of your engine venting system (PVC), it can suck a shot of oil into the turbo. The two tubes coming off of the oil filler go where?

Light bluish-gray (oil), or dark gray, like a storm cloud (too rich)?

Grey/Black smoke means unburnt fuel. No need to send the turbo off. Are you running an ignition amp? If not, buy one and get it retuned.

Since you are single turbo you will need to tap the compressor housing pre compressor blade and add a nipple to run a line from the oil filler neck to the intake. Your other option is to install a catch can with breather, either will help if it is a pcv issue. Once you have done either of the above remove the PCV and cap off the manifold where it was attached.

PVC got it now....

today

i capped off the pvc and oil filter neck

whent out for a drive

7500 rpm 4th gear i let off smoke

normal driving no smoke

its hard to tell from inside the car but smoke seemed to be grey

the exhaust is black and some black on the bumper

some detonations after that inside the exhaust

will look in to installing oil catch can

and just drive it slow for now

i can datalog some runs if any one willing to take a look

i can also get the car on the dyno....and i can set up conection to my laptop so tuner can control my laptop from his...you would see my laptop screen on yours....with high speed internet conection.... dyno log and widband at the tailpipe and fc datalogit with aem widband aftre the turbo.... if any one can tune this way

Do you have both of the nipples on the filler neck capped off? If so that is not good.

Yes, leave one open, even better if you can attach a nipple to the compressor housing pre compressor wheel to pull some very very slight vacuum thru the line. Uncap one of them immmediately. Have you tried driving the car with the oil fill cap removed? If not, give it a try and report back.

Just because the turbo comes with a restrictor doesn't mean it's the right size. My buddy had to get a smaller one for his turbo that he put on his s2000 about two months ago, caused it to smoke. Maybe try that and hope the turbo isn't TOO damaged.

you had a rubber oil feed line? Stainless steel seems to be the standard. or maybe you're talking about the drain line, which was causing oil to back up?
