slicoen coupling sizes 2.5, 2.75 opr 3"
I measure end of efini y-pipe. it is right at 2.5", greddy elbow end is almost three. could I get away with 2.5 for both.
I also want to add silicone couplings to all joints, air intake tubes, intercooler, etc.
Thanks

thinking about buying by teh foot from baker precision, much cheaper that way. you can also get them from www.hosetechniques.com

The stock size and thus the size of most aftermarket components is 2.75". I got some hose from Baker that I am pretty happy with. My only trouble was cutting it evenly. You might want to measure the size of each coupling you'll need and ask Baker to cut it to length for you. It isn't hard to cut, it is just hard to cut it so the end is even.

My only complaint with te hose techniques silicone couplers was material thickness.
I bought some couplers from M2 & they are WAY thicker.
Does size (thickness) matter?
Check out the couplers under boost, (on the dyno) they expand like a balloon!
I used the Hose Techniquies couplers on the air box hard pipes only (vaccum, no boost press).

I use the Baker Precision orange turbo hose. I think a foot was $25 which was enough for four couplers. It is thin, but holds up fine. Mine has been on the stock crossover pipe for about a year now and doesn't swell or slip at all. Very satisifed.
I recommend getting some decent clamps. Baker sells some that look like a normal hose clamp but the threads are crimped in rather than punched; it won't ever slice the hose. They are about half the price of big spring loaded t-clamps. After 20K miles and over 20 autox events I have never had a hose pop off.
