this community has been on the net for a number of years and i have to tell you this is the first single vs. twin thread i have seen. man, you are a godsend. search button will give you more info, and like previous posts its all about how much money you want to spend and your goals. if you want 500rwhp go single, if you want 400-430 go with the bnr stage 3's. correct me if im wrong guys but i think i have heard of guys getting 400 on stock twins.

Ok then, you are wrong. 400 on stock twins aint happening. BNR is something different.

i do want high horse power but the drag is not really my thing, i prefer track or drifting which also requires high horse power. ive heard to go single for drag, i just wanted to know peoples thoughts on both. o and im not really turbo knowledgeable, all i kno is that someone could get more boost out of a single?

i guess your wrong, you should do some research or ask mahjik and rynberg they know of guys making 400 on stock twins, and this was a excerpt of a post about max rwhp on stock twins, also it must be said that making 400rwhp on stockers is not reliable. i would go bnr if you want to maintain the twins

Honestly, don't remember my best with the seq twins but I did notice after ~15psi boost control with the seq system became an issue. Since the motor is making more power and revving faster the solenoids and actuators don't operate fast enough too keep the transition smooth like stock (9.5psi). Loading the engine @ different rpms would give different results and when boost was lowered things worked normal !!!

This is the main reason I went to Non-seq.....which gives me one smooth curve which I could depend on.

402rwh and 122mph was the best on a non-seq twins and stock motor.
125mph was the best on ported motor and non-seq turbos.

After 17-18psi the huge restriction is on the exhaust side.

well since you like roadcourses and drifting i would go bnr's. and if your mr. moneybags from what i have seen A-specs new 500r is a great all around turbo. they were able to get 500rwhp @ 20psi. contact them they will point you in the right direction
