Seeking Help with PFC....

Hey everyone..

I got my PFC a month or two ago.
I have not yet started tinkering with it.
My car with the PFC is running extremely RICH.
During WOT runs I always get High injector Duties.
in the 90's.. The highest reading I have had was 99.3%
injector duty. And during that particular run..
The car was hestitating in the upper RPMS.
"Thank god for this forum." With the research i have
done.. I BELIEVE, tell me if I am WRONG, but i can
cut out some fuel by Using the "PIM"

But before I start changing stuff. HERE is what my
PIM settings are:
RPM Setting
8000 100%
7000 100%
6000 100%
5000 100%
4000 100%
3000 101.9%
2000 102.3%
1000 101.5%

Do the above settings look right for my MODS??
Mod List below:

When I first saw this. I was wondering why from 3k-1K
Why is it set above 100%???

And any recommendations on how to set the above??

*** IF I change the above settings, DO I Have to change the PIM VOLT settings?? ***

- Moderators. Sorry for posting this in this section. but
PFC forum has no traffic.

any input or insight would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

PS sorry for long post..

No traffic in the PFC forum? Huh, that's funny... I learned everything I know about PIM settings from that forum. Maybe you should try a search.

PIM Setting

Before messing with the PIM setting (lowering the map signal, thus decreasing amount of fuel via lower load fuel map), you have to find out:

1) Is that miss in the high rpm the cause of your suspected overly rich condition? In order to find out you will need a wide band meter.

2) When's the last time you change your plugs and wires?

Plugs changed about a month ago, with maybe
600 miles ago.. Wires changed last year.

Reason I think the Missing is due to the 99.3%
Injector duty. Causing the injectors to go static.
My Car is running Way rich.

I want to tune out some fuel. and just looking for
some advice..

So do my PIM setting " in above post" look right?
for my MODS??

Why is the 1K -3K RPMS set above 100%??
is that how its suppose to be???

And if I do Dial out fuel.. HOW much should I dial out?
OR how can I tell if I dialed out enough or to much
fuel?? Last thing I want to do is Blow my motor.

Thanks again

Mods

Judging from your level of mods, you are pretty much suit up. I would rather have the car run richer than lean with your setup right now. However, your real issue is probably that 'miss' you are experiencing rather than the car running rich.

In order to tell if you are running THAT rich is to use a wide band and log the air fuel value.

Depending on the boost you are running, my friend has the same mods you have except FMIC and running 12-13psi, and after dyno tuning his injector is 100% maxed out shown on the commander.

No miss in his car.

Your ignition might just be breaking up, maybe time for ignition amplifier like HKS twinpower or B&M volt amp.

Oh

Oh the lower rpm on why the PIM is alittle over 100% could be for better idle. Too less fuel at idle motor tends to be alittle rough.

100% PIM at 3000rpm is not the same amount of fuel say 100% at 6000rpm.

PIM voltage isn't where you should be looking, you need to learn about changing the end of your fuel map. But like Blackbeast said it's better to run rich then too lean.
