Scoot Hood?
I have a knock off scoot hood, but i see that some scoots are different. The middle inlet looks like some have it completely blocked off. Mine goes all the way to the back, and i think it gets pushed out the openings near the back on both sides. I also see people cut out a section not to far pass the opening. I think i might have to cut mine also near the opening because my ASP smic duct sticks up to high for it. Is it suppose to go all the way back for it to function right? Does it cause pressure to go down in the rear and the vent to pull air up?

I think the authentic scoot hood is built the same way yours is. What one do you have, VIS? I think you could cut it no problem, that is how the seibon scoot hoods come. I have the rotary extreme, which is like yours, but I am going to leave it how it is.

You can get a rain guard for the Scoot hood - it bolts in and covers all the vents up. One of the local guys here (Cam) has a replica Scoot hood and it came with the rain guard.
