RX7Store V-Mount Kit Info

I've searched as much as I can on this kit, and haven't found out what I would like to know.

If anyone has this kit, what temps are you seeing un-ducted (the way the kit comes). Did you then duct it, and if so how did your temps change? What are your ambients for comparison?

Can you use a battery IN the bay still?

Any install pictures on both a 93 and 99 front end?

I used the same parts as Jason (RX7store) uses to build my vmount and I can definately say my temps look great. I have only ducted the sides between the ic and radiator. There is no ducting below my radiator. I have yet to run the car hard, but in 90 degree heat and sitting in traffic my temps never went above 90deg C. Air temps also seem MUCH better and even after being heat soaked I see intake temps drop faster than when I was running the Greddy as a FMIC.

To my knowledge, there is no way to run a battery still in the engine bay.

Maybe some others can chime in, but there is no ducting needed for this kit. The intercooler is large enough where there are no openings on the side of it and seals to the rear of the radiator.
From the ones we have installed the temps are similar to a front mount setup but the flow to the radiator is a lot better. Due to the size of this intercooler these is no room on the side for a battery.
The radiator is adjustable in the front so you can adjust it depending on the bumper you are using.

^^ that's what I seemed to read from the other threads. If I get this kit I will most likely duct it anyways since the car will be primarily used on the track. For DD use from looking at how large the IC core is I doubt it needs ducting.

But the 99 front is another story? The opening is a bit different... I am planning to get the 99 front so I want to see how it fits in that application?

Ahh.. Jason sorry I missed that last senctece. Does the kit come with different length brackets? From the looks of it is seems pretty easy to make longer ones if needed...

The brackets are all the same but the kit comes with aluminum spacers so you can adjust it up/down.
