Originally posted by ech These look very nice. I like the slight offset look. Very little in this car is a pure circle or square (well wheels, dials, and other things that spin). Having the lights offset in depth and height looks right to me. Could you show a picture of what the lights look like from the side or above-behind when in sleepy position? Is there anything, like gaps, that look funny when the covers are 1/2 to 2/3 open? I sacond putting good lighting patter higher in priority over the lowest possible lid. keep us posted! I'll try and get a picture from the side next time I put them back in and I'll post it up when I do. As for gaps, I'm no totally sure yet since I haven't yet fixed the headlight cover onto the bracket (it's just sitting about where I want it in the pictures). The only gap would be in between the headlights and the hood, but there's one there on the stock lights when the lights are up. It should be less in these. Ryan |
Originally posted by Gun I had one question about the kit. Will this kit allow the lights to still open and close? Or will this be a fixed comversion? Looking good buy the way. later Gun Ryan |
Er, well probably, like A-Spec said it can be done. I doubt I'll be selling these as an option, but they could be bought seperately and added on later. Ryan |

Originally posted by RedFD Those lights are nice!! Anyways can you stagger them a little more like the panspeed ones instead of just having both lights lined up next to eachother. Does that replace the whole assembly? Would you make those for money? |
here's my friend's 240 with the light conversion. HID too.

First of all, I didn't model these after ASP's, second, I made these just for the fun of it, third, I think they look better than Kevins, fourth from what I know-he doesn't really sell them anymore-sounds like his person is too lazy, fifth, I made these before Panspeed's even came out! Sixth, they are not rotordave's-he is just a friend of mine who put my pic. up, my name is Spyro, and whoever doesn't like them I don't really care! But I'll bet you I see better on the road than you!:p:

I gotta say, I'm getting pretty excited about all this. I cant wait to see the final product. Finally...better lighting and cool looking ta-boot.

Originally posted by maxcooper This looks like it is coming along nicely. I have a suggestion about the vertical alignment, which is basically that the lights should be at just about the same level. The reason I think that "works" is because it puts each light in the middle of the opening. I doctored your picture to show what I mean: Ryan |
Yeah hurry up on these bad ass mo-fo's I didn't think they would turn out as good as they are but now I just might get a pair from you... Kepp up the good work!

Thank you. :) Ryan |

Ahh, don't let numb-nutts get to ya... with the "haha" I always like it when somebody replys with a "hahaha" - then you Know you bitch slaped them. The more and more I think about it the more and more I want a pair from you! Soo if it turns out like I think it's going to count me as another buyer!

I think I want these things done about as much as you want me to have them done. If I could quit changing my mind and leave things alone, I could probably have them done by now. They're close enough now that I could just take them to a machine shop and have them do the final adjustments (probably). I might go talk to them this week and see what they say.

hey Ryan,
here's how to put the HIDs in the hellas. The D2S are positioned perfectly this way and produce some great lightning. That's how my friend with the 240 did it. http://members.rogers.com/hid/ David |
