i like the straight back design also.. its different

Rotary Power did a great job in designing their exhaust. i'm glad they asked me to be one the first peope to try it out.

some people were asking me what brand this is.. i guess i confused some.

its ROTARY POWER's own exhaust called the TYPE-R at this moment its not yet in their catalog but i guess you can call them up or email them if you have a question about it.

but its assembled.. constructed by the same company in japan who puts together the greddy/trust brand exhaust

I just hope it isn't as loud and obnoxious as those..

its rotary performance (rx7.com) own brand exhaust and it goes for 439 bucks. its not in the catalog yet so you might have to email them or call them up. its called the Type-R.

flow.. well its 3inch all the way through. it flows very well. after the transition my car surges forward harder than before.

the exhaust IS louder than the muffler style exhausts (greddy SP or tanabe Gpower). its loud but to me its quite manageable and the tone is nice and deep and at WOT it screams. i can hear my stereo under normal conditions. if you're concerned about noise get the muffler style.

i wasnt a fan of canister exhausts because of civic fart sounds but i'm pleased with the results. i have a dp and not a mp.. maybe with a mp i'll start to complain

hehehe.. i only have a dp and the exhaust.. i'm planning on getting a muffled mp from

http://www.vrsexhaust.com/index.htm

they sell a stainless steel muffler/mp for 250.

i know it'll be loud as hell with a mp in.

overall.. what do you think of the exhaust? after several weeks with it on i still love it.

oh yeah.. do you have an ecu with that combo and do you see boost spikes or boost creep?

I haven't driven much with the exhaust I had to check on some things first. I also have to re adjust my boost controller. I will let you know later today. I am running no sequential turbos also.

That does look exactly like the GReddy J-spec that they sell. The only things that are different are because it's polished and the diameter of the piping. The Greddy J-spec is 3.71" pipe, and it doesn't come with a silencer.

I want one!!! I just sent the sales guys at rx7.com an email to ask if they have anymore. That's such a better deal with everything I'd look for in an exhaust. Polishing, silencer, 3/4" dimensions, and straight back exit.... That's great. Nice pictures, Lucky. Did they say anything about keeping the same price for future buyers? What kind of exhaust did they have it listed as?... Or was it just a special new one they had that they were selling?

hey, are there enough people interested in buying one of these new systems who'd wanna organize a group buy? I emailed Ari at RX7.COM and he said they've got them in stock. Its available online now, I think its the first exhaust on the list. The RP type R. They have two different models. The second one has a smaller tip. $439 is the price for them individually, but maybe they'll say yes to a group buy proposal. Anybody up for it?
