Rotary Works Exhaust? Similar to RE Dolphin Tail
Are there any guys here running this exhaust? If so, what do you think of it? (Fitment, sound wise versus other 3" exhausts and of course compared to the Racing Beat.) I currently have a PFS 3" catback and it's too loud (both sound wise and aesthetically) for my taste.

WOW! I really like what i see there. I am equally as interested. I would love to hear what that one sounds like. The muffler looks large just like the re-amemiya one too. With the right midpipe that is probably a fairly quiet exhaust, provided its a high quality muffler. And the price is fantastic too. Thank goodness. Now i might not have to buy a racing beat dual tip with that nasty bolted on mount on the passengers side. Thank goodness.

Thanks for the word of caution. Shame about their reputation...I was really interested..I wonder if any other vendors on here can come up with a similar exhaust?

I bought one about 1.5 years ago for my bone stock FD.
i installed ONLY the catback portion first as i was afraid of boost creep and wanted something louder without a giant can. i really wanted a giant 4" badd *** turn down. but settled for this 3" one.
So the catback portion will not bolt up and go to the stock midpipe, i had to make an adapter piece, no big deal.
so when i started the car.... it was disappointed at how quiet it was but i still had both stock cats in. the fitment kinda sucked. the rear bend was to close to the subframe and the turn down melted some plastic on my bumper, but i would attribute that to my shitty exhaust connector that i made.
since then i have went single turbo, cut the flex tube off the stock DP and fabbed my own DP to meet with that flex and the rest of the exhaust. My rear hanger location before the diff is a little weird/ not exactly perfect. but hey i saved a ton of time and money with this exhaust so that is a win in my book.
the only places i see the exhaust cracking would be in the hanger areas where the welds are a little undercut. But ive also had HKS systems with cracked hanger welds.
in the grand sceme of things, $400 for a stainless exhaust that is "close enough" is good with me. But i do plan to throw my muffler guy a few dollars to make the fit and finish better, maybe new hangers.
