The only sleek lights i've seen that really maintain the cars lines and look were the old ASP lights. I'd like to see those updated to use something besides driving lights... I bet Kevin Wyum still has the buck for the headlight cover/pod.

Those look awesome Jim : P. You're just jealous you couldn't buy any no matter how much you paid. heh. Functional is right, 6" x 9" cone filters didn't fit under the normal RE style or knockoff kits.

I've seen them in person, and thought they didn't look too bad... and DID preserve the lines of the car, which i can't say for most all of whats out there...

BTW: Where would be the cheapest place to get the RE induction kit. (I'd want the induction on both sides).

Um, because most of the rest are glass/plastic covers for a bucket, and these preserve 75-80% of the painted light cover?

I'm coming out with a complete re STYLE headlight kit for $350. i have a contact in Taiwan that has the equipment needed to make this cheaply, and of course labor is cheap so i can offer it cheap to the buyer. I've seen the pics of the completed product and it looks very much like the re one. The only difference is the lights in that theres no exposed stuff in the back making it look cheap..like the brackets and projector lights looking unfinished. what we did was blend our lights in with the unit so now everything looks good and flush. It's being sent to me now so I will see how it turns out once i get it and install it. if everything is good ill be doing a group buy for the entire kit. if we can get 10 people interested it'll be around $330 shipped. I expect to sell A LOT of these once we get everything set up and I've confirmed it's a quality product.

If anyone wants copies of the cover assembly from the kit on my car I can have them made for around $175 for both. That wouldn't include brackets, lights or anything else. Just the fiberglass assembly (covers). I already own the mold so it's just a matter of the fiberglass guy running them off. I have a few sets of brackets left but those are designed for the PIAA projectors which aren't the best for a disperse beam. Might be something for someone to play with and do their own thing so the offer's open.

I went a slightly different way.
The IPF (RE) lights suck, basically identical to the stock lighting. The Hella H7 or H9s (Rotary Extreme) are ok but still not what I was looking for. I modified my eastbear kit to accept Hella H7s and then modified the hella housing to accept 4300K HIDs. I can now see everything. I highly recommend HIDs.
