Review of A-spec's 4 inch turboback magnaflow exhaust
I figured since Sean just put this bad boy on sale (https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=676252) now was a good time for a review. I've put some miles on the car in the last 6 months, to include a 2000 mile trip down to Deal's Gap Rotary Rally, which was a blast by the way .
The system is very light, well constructed, and is very easy to install. There are flex sleeves that fit in between each section, with large locking clamps. Because of the flex sleeves, you can adjust the effective length of the exhaust, to include the catback section.
I specified that my exhaust be fabbed up with dual magnaflow mufflers, one middle and one rear. I also had them use a 5 inch magnaflow polished rolled tip. The mufflers do a very good job of keeping the noise level pretty reasonable around town, and the droning on the highway was bearable, even on the long trip down to visit Herblenny and friends.
The system does work with the Banzai racing diff brace, but not the KG parts T-style brace.
I really like the sound of the larger diameter exhaust, it takes the raspiness out of the exhaust note, and gives it a deep mean tone.
Here are some vids with sound of the exhaust, use windows media player for sound:

It looks/sounds amazing Rich. Part of me wish I ordered it too with my kit, but at the end of the day I decided I did not really "need" it. Like I really NEEDED the 500r...hahahahahahaaa The car is looking smoother than ever, oh yeah and I saw the other edition on the interior...VERY nice.....

Just as a comparison, I recently rode in a customer's car with non-seq twins, dp, pettit res mp, and apex n1 single cb. Easy low rpm neighborhood driving. My A-Spec 4 inch setup is definitely quieter and drones less, and has a much deeper sound to it. I continue to be surprised by how well the magnaflow mufflers keep the sound down on my setup
