rear bumper lower lip
hey guys, am i able to install the lower lip without removing the rear bumper? i have this piece who broke off above the muffler, ive removed the bolt but its still held by some clips. whats the best way to remove this broken piece and install a new lip?

That piece is a very common thing to melt and get destroyed.
I do remember being able to unscrew all the clips that keep those pieces in place. No need to remove the bumper.
Jack the car up and take a very good look at where the rear valence aligns. It's not too difficult but it will require some patience

Actually, you do need to remove the rear bumper to put in a new rear lower valance. Part of the valance goes around the studs that holds the bumper into the body.
It's not super fun to remove the back bumper, but it's not terrible. Remove the taillights, bunch of bolts under them. Then, in the wells inside the car there are I think 3 10mm nuts on each side. The bottom nut is REALLY down in there.
Do it once, do it right.

Yeah I just did this, there is one or two screws for the lip that you can't get to without removing the bumper. When you remove all the 10mm nuts there are also two big white clips on each side of the bumper that require alot of effort to separate.
