Really nasty metalic CRACK under hard braking

So to start off, the brake pedal feel in my FD is **** compared to my buddies FD. The pedal has to go under the gas before I get any decent brake force, which is really really scary. I have bled the fronts before and seem to be fine.

Now whenever I use the brakes agressively, like say I run to 110 or so and need to drop to 60, I get a really really loud bang when I get on the brakes hard. I gave Chuck from Rotary Extreme a ride and he says hes never heard something like that before.

Anyone heard this before?

My pads are stockers and are in really bad shape (thin), so I picked up some HP+ and SS lines at RE and I am hoping that solves the problem.

My guess is that one of the pistons on the front right is sticking, and its not until I apply a good amount of force that the piston is moving, and causing a huge bang, maybe moving the pad...

Its fine for city driving, as it only does it when I am really ripping on the brakes, but its still really unsettling, and I dont want to go to the track or auto-x with it like this...
