Please do not ask for pricing information from fd3s777 on this thread, or via PM. Use this thread as an informational section to see the progress fd3s777 has made, or any questions about the kit itself.

If you start hounding him to buy it, then it becomes a technical "violation" of the forum, for fd3s777 isn't an advertiser. This puts other advertisers on the forum in a bad position, because they were not capable of showing a product and selling it either.

Now, with that stated, don't think you can't get one either. We are in the process of organizing a Group Buy for this product, and an online option to purchase as well.

Thanks,
Mike

Now would this GB is for the lights or covers? I know you said lights, but this thread is about covers hence my question.

I would be down for a light GB, but in the end it all depends on price .

fd3s777,
BTW those covers look great. I never bought the other sleek lights because they looked cheap to me. I was going for the C-west but this is swaying my decision.

The sides are wrap around. Now you done have to paint the inside part black. Whole purpose of that was to cover up the black silicon adhensives. You can now screw on the sides or silicon them. Keep the top part full clear and paint the base to match your car color. That would make your sleek light kit look more like a Farrari 360 headlight. I had to make a aluminum molding for this. Below are some photos...
I was wondering if you could post a side profile shot that captures the contour better?

Still working out the details. There most likely will be an end-all kit. Let me work some details out.

I just looked at my RE lights and there is very little gap tolerance between the pod and the bumper, fender and hood. Unless your covers are very thin they would not work with my lights. Although I do relize that the fenders could be adjusted over a bit and the bumper also. Fit and finish do vary from one car to another.

Are the RE buckets " RE Amemiya" or "Rotary extreme"? Will the Covers work with both buckets?

The covers look great. Get the side view and mounted pics up!! I'm anxious. I'd be down for a set if they look good.

Thumbs up

WOW, they are the first ones I have seen that don't sit out of the bucket too high!
I think I might be interested too, if the price is as good as peeps are saying it is ((without saying it, that is!) lol what are you gonna use for lighting?

Glenn

I try to put on some 90mm fog light, but there was not enough to fit in. So 90mm fog light is out of question. Below is some photo.

Not enought room for the fog light...
