I'm trying to find more specs now.

I did see that it has an electric power steering setup...

Wow.

I saw teasers of this build last week and I was waiting for more. Looks like a concept car. I guess we'll see what they do with the design in the future.

I usually drool over just about everything RE makes but for some reason this new thing just doesn't do it for me. Its just too many different design directions to flow properly, interesting motor setup though.

Interesting design. I'm not sold on it but IMO it still looks a hell of a lot better than some other widebodies that are out there.

Those mirrors looks very sweet, if the distribution of the LEDs was better they would be perfect.

^ Agreed.

Additionally:

It's a little reminiscent of the R8, which I don't hate at all.

I also agree with the earlier comment about headlights. Some more finishing would help. Maybe something like a curved lens akin to the turn signal covers on the GTC bumper would flush it up nicely, I think.

The "snout" is a little too sharp, in my opinion, but I'm still letting it grow on me.

Generally, my first impression is that this is the first "dramatic" RE kit that I really like right off the bat.

Price guess? 20K?

I like it!

Also, if the following quote wasn't on purpose, it is one of the funniest unintentional troll posts I've seen in some time...and if it was on purpose...still funny.

The original prototype for the FD had a similar headlight design. I think RE-Amemiya was just re-creating it with the "wannabe porsche" style. My x gf has my Rx-7 book still otherwise I'd post a picture haha.

dang it I was just gonna ask you if had pics lol.

Thanks for the info, given that little piece of knowledge it makes sense why RE-A did that. Now I'm gonna have to search for a pic as it is going to drive me nuts now.

The vents in back of the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels seem tacked on and don't really match any other angles on the car. The front is particularly ugly and like others said lacks finish to the headlights. The rear just looks way too bulky.

I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me like like the wide body on Scoot's four rotor FD or any of Feed's wide bodies or even the R-Magic one.

I agree but in the world of Rx7s, it makes the car even more unique.

I like the kit alot. It's weird without seeming very gaudy to me. It's almost ghoulish.

I usually don't like their cars and designs but this one is totally different. Looks like something Mazda should display as a prototype for the new gen rx7s lololol.
