I just wanted to post a thank you to Ray for hooking up the members the way he does. I called a local mazda dealership for a relay today on the 21st and they quoted me $32 and said it'd be here on the 24th. I call Ray after I get off the phone with the first dealer and he tells me the relay will be $17 and he can get it to me by tomorrow for a total of ~$25. Excellent customer service and he knows what the hell he's talking about.

I called Ray from Canada when I did my non-sequential conversion. He knew exactly all the gaskets I needed (he would finish saying the part number before I could), the prices where great and I had them within a day or two!!!!! Remeber I am not even in the same country!
Great guy and great service!!!

I've never had a sale go smoother than when I deal with him. Tell him what I need...he quotes me a price that ia always lower than everybody else....sale done in 2-3 minutes tops. Ive actually received items the next day from him.

Has anyone asked Ray if he knows how long Mazda might be continuing to make parts ... I know that's probably an answer that he might not know directly from corporate (not inquiring about a date) ... but he is the most knowledgeable person about the FD, at Mazda here in the US, that many people here have worked with ... soo? And maybe he's got some connections who know something about the highly speculative next gen rx7.. then I can decide, get an FD or the new one... can't wait till 2010, sorry.

Ray has help me over the years to put together my 94 black R2. Thousands of dollars of parts and many stupid question later the car runs and looks good even though I did the work myself. Ray, as you read this, I truly appreciate your help and commitment.
Many Thanks

Yup, I can't wait to have another cold one with the man at the Deal's Gap Rotary Rally this year
I'll go ahead and email this link to him, I'm sure he'll appreciate it

Lol, I go and start this thread, but my overnight order got sent by express mail instead. He apologized and credited the money back to me, so it's no big deal, he's still the best parts manager I've ever dealt with.

saved me 50 bones on a TPS compared to the local dealer. AND he actually knows what you're talking about when you ask him about a part--like the subtle differences between model years and stuff

I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts from Ray over the past couple of years. Always the best prices and the service is simply the best. Do yourself a favor and lookup the word "service" in your dictionary and you'll see a picture of Ray!
