Rattling from 1900 - 2500 rpm?
Sup guys,
First, my car is stock with 105k miles.
Is anyone else experiencing a very distinct rattle while driving between 1900 or 2000 and 2500 rpm? The rattle goes away right after the 2500 mark, but will be there in a higher gear if it shifts into that rpm range. The sound is a fast not clunky type of rattle and is linear with rpm's. Thanks for all input and let me know if anything else needs to be answered about my car.

Oh, damnit I always do this...I also get another rattle while idling. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the clutch or how it's activated, because it goes away with a quick press of the clutch pedal. Could this noise be the cause of my 2000-2500 rpm noise?

The first rattle is probably your cat heat shield. Mine is doing it because of a crack I haven't got around to getting welded yet. 1500 rpm everytime - BUZZ.
The second rattle sounds like the brake booster rattle. It was a TSB, just do a search, it should come up. You just have to buy a small damper for where the hard line attaches to the firewall. I haven't got around to doing this yet either....damn new house.
