1) tracks you have been on (e.g. the Glen, VIR, Mid-Ohio...)
2) your level of driving experience
3) track mods on your 3rd gen
4) fastest speeds you've hit at any given track
1. Road Atlanta (three events), VIR (once), Pacific Raceways (Seattle- 6 events), Bremerton Raceway (Seattle- 11 events).
2. Three years of HPDE (FD), two years of SOLO 1 (FD), and one year road racing in my Spec Miata.
3. Unfortunately, my website is down for a bit so here's a rough draft: lightened car (2,640 lbs with cage), no AC or PS; suspension mods (bushings, trailing arms, toe links, springs, shocks, sway bars); wheels (18x10 F & R with 285-30 Hoosiers); brakes/pads/ducts (APs F, '99 RZ R); full exhaust; IC; intake; radiator; CWR dual oil coolers; pulleys; PFC; Y-pipe; stock twins (at the time) w/13 PSI boost; race plugs; injectors; bigger fuel lines; fuel pump; roll cage/6 pt harness/road racing seat; reduced ratio 5th gear; HD clutch/PP, lightweight flywheel; and a few other other things I can't recall at the moment.
4. 150-155 at Road Atlanta (FD), 145 at VIR (FD before 5th gear mod), 150 at Pac Raceway (FD)- 115 in Spec Miata , 135-140 at Bremerton Raceway (FD)- 105 in SM.

Take it in the spirit in which it was intended. Obviously, speeding is illegal. When I do exceed the speed limit by 120 mph, I know I am doing something incredibly dangerous; however, I only endanger myself when I engage in such actions. This is what I mean by calling my speeding "responsible."

I'm not saying you're a bad person, because I believe that just about everyone on this board has pushed the speed limit a few times. I just think that there are other "possible" scenarios that you may not have considered. Just be careful, we'd hate to hear about you getting hurt or dying.
