yes i am debating on ordering from jeff the small polished battery hold down and getting a 51r battery

i am also gonna get the ast from rotary performance because they are really close to where i live and parts get to my house in a day or 2.

Is the ast from rotary performance a good product?

Thanks guys for the nice words

That heat shield seems counter productive. It's blocking the main source of fresh, cool air into most aftermarket intakes (the 2" space between the radiator and the headlight).

Thanks!

BTW
You can get a standard lead-acid type battery, 51R size OR get an Optima in the same size for more capacity.

Yes, I've been running one for years with no problems.

The polished intake and piping looks very nice, however, I would also question the layout of the heat shield. It would be great to compare the intake temps with or without the heat shield...

yo ryneberg, i thought the same thing but after i cruise with the heat shield on it is cooler by the intake pipes than without, because the fans arent blowing all that hot air alll over them, anyways lots of the heat leaves through my vented hood.
