ya these damn Greddy gauges have no easy way into them, the two halves are like crimped into each other. It sucks cause I cant start messing with my profec until I see the real #'s off the gauge.

i also have the greddy gauges i had to unfold the edges with a small flat blade screw driver take the bezel and face off and remove the moisture out of it and readjust it to read true then put it all back together and re fold the bezel back to its original shape. the cup for it hides all the dirty screw driver marks

I got mine up and running. I'm just waiting on new radiator fans and a new pulley since mine has a bad bearing. My motor was built by Banzai-Racing and I have to say, with how easy it started and how well it runs they must have done a hell of a good job porting and assembling it all. Are you running yours? I'm on hold till the fans get in.

Congrats man, glad to hear. Ya I like Banzai they do good work and have great customer service. Im running mine, but my brand new boost gauge I bought off a member here isnt working so I havent really turned on the boost controller to try to dial in boost settings. Im kinda stuck because the rx has got me broke at the moment and cant just drop the cash for another one. Im hoping that maybe I can get it fixed, but its electronic so I dont know about repairing it...

Even if it's for temporary use check out glowshift. I'm using them for oil and coolant temp gauges and it was like $99 shipped for the 2. They have fast shipping and it works. Mine are the plain black gauges to match the pineapple racing dual EGT. The red light background isn't a perfect match but satisfyingly close IMO. Food for thought.

No sorry. Look into it though as it maybe a good affordable temporary solution, unless you like it.

Hey buddy,
When I´ve understood right, You have a PFC.
And you´ve made some reset etc. steps.
So It sounds that You have a Commander for the Apexi PFC, too.
Why don´t you use the Apexi - boost information?!

You can monitor the boost via the commander.

btw: good luck!!!

kind regards

Marc

Ya I do have a PFC, but from reading all the talk on the forum its not a very reliable reading unless you calibrate it, plus I havent figured out how to convert to psi (and thats the only boost unit of measurement my brain thinks in) heh. Appreciate the advise Marc.

Ill probably end up getting a cheaper mechanical gauge for now, perhaps a glowshift or vdo, and try to bitch more to the guy I got the greddy gauge from, but so far he wont reply... oh well

That sucks, this is supposed to allow people with similar interest to network and help one another. It's such a shame to have to worry about that kind of ****. It really pisses me off, I was ripped off buying my FD. The worst part is the guy took advantage of the fact I was in Iraq and had family check out the car and pick it up. I've been as cautious as possible while buying parts off the forum because of it. Luckily I was able to get numerous parts without incident and save money allowing me to complete my build the way I wanted. I hope the individual helps out in some way. Even if they provide enough money for you to purchase one of the inexpensive gauges, you know, meet half way. Well good luck.

hehe, ya every thing is powered up but the needle doesnt budge. I assumed that the needle would move when I finally installed it but ya, nothing... Theres not a whole lot to mess up unless im retarded, 12v, 12v switched, ground and the electronic input coming from the vacuum source.
