question about AST bypass kit in this pic???

hey fellows, listen i just found this pic on EBay and i have questions about this AST bypass kit. In the picture there is 2 hoses coming out of the by-pass ki. The upper one that goes to the overflow tank and where does the lower one go??? I just had a AST bypass kit installed but ive been having nothing but problems and from looking at this picture and mine, mine is blocked off with a nipple that seals it.
Where does the lower hose go and will this be the cause of my problems with my cooling system>??
Thanks
Saul V

the bottom one goes to the lower nipple on the radiator... some people cap this line and some people don't... I still don't know what's the difference.. but i have mine connected...

Well, maybe I can help here. From what I can see the picture only shows one hose coming from the by-pass kit (blue hose).

The black hose under the blue hose is attached to the housing and should run to the bottom of your radiator.

well the vehicle seems like is loosing coolant mainly because most of it comes out the overflow tank.
No leaks and no smoke, it just comes out the overflow tank

Check to see if you have bubbles in your coolant filler neck.

well im going to try changing the coolant line to the radiator, if that doesnt work then i might just need a new motor like ryan says.
How can you tell you need a new motor??? The car doesnt smoke or anything.

How'd you check for bubbles in the filler neck?

The car has to be warm with the t-stat open for the bubble to come thru.
