1. http://www.jspell.com/html-spell-checker.html
2. Find a qualified rotary specalist to fix your car. Check the NE RX-7 Forum here for a thread about shops in your area.
3. Get a second job because it sounds like you need a bunch of electrical work, a R&R on the 5 speed, and a brake job (let somebody else break their tools).

About the BOV if you have the stock airbox on the car you won't hear the Fast and Furious style BOV as it is recycled into the box to muffle it.

Islandboy, it sounds like you didnt really know what you were getting into when you bought the RX-7. It is a pretty high maintence car. Unless you know a lot about fixing them, I would reccomend taking it to a rotary specialist you can trust

1. & 2. electrical issues that are gonna cost an ***-load of money
3. tranny rebuild that's gonna cost an ***-load of money
4. turbo rebuild that's gonna cost an ***-load of money and there's only one (1) BOV... learning about the car BEFORE you bought it would have been a good decision but well, you didn't and now... its gonna cost an ***-load of money
5. take it to a mechanic and have them do it... good news is... this is NOT going to cost an ***-load of money

best bet, buy another car (NOT an FD) and part this one out. to sum up, that's... 4 ***-loads of money. you need to explain what else is on the car if you want anything even remotely specific as a response.

Hey Island Boy.. You should sell your car and get back in your Civdick and parade around with your Huge wing cause you don't need that FD.

That second "BOV" is actually a "CRV"....look closely at both and u'll see them labeled differently...its a charge relief valve....NOT a BOV...it does not function like a BOV either, so you only have ONE yes ONE BOV

If you type like you at least have a sixth grade education and are nicer to people you may get better responses. I don't mean to sound like a ***** but I'm sure most people here will agree with me. Type with something closer to "proper" english and be nicer and you will get alot more help.

i try to stay civil on here, but you sir, are a f*cking a**hole. if you would f*cking look under the hood you'd see that there's a BOV and a CRV. where the hell did you learn how to type anyways? why is it that kids feel like its so important to be THUG and not use proper english. i hope to God that everyone on this forum reads the crap you are writing and if you don't get an IP ban (which needs to be done at this point in time just for trolling) that they NEVER EVER offer you any assistance. if you're mechanics are so GOOD and FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE why don't you just take it to them and let them figure it out for you.

just calm down guys. this guy is from NJ and is prob. only 17. His parents are prob. bugging him to move the car from the driveway. =p

islandboy-

dude your makeing yourself to be an ***. I would try to help you, but your being such a jerk i dont want to help you. GROW up!!! this is free advice your asking for. If you want a straight answer spend that "extra cash"/ allowance and go to a mechanic! I'm sure they will take your money and teach you something about your car.

GOOD LUCK

the easiest thing to do is to sell car and buy a better one, how much did you pay anyways?

First off I would put the tachometer and gas gage on the back burner for now. The factory oil pressure sending unit or its connection is not the best design and may need just to have the terminal on the oil pressure unit scuffed up with some emery paper. The coolant temp gage along with the cooling system are known weaknesses in the design of the Rx7. The gage is not linear so at 1/2 its getting hot. Under 1/2 your OK. The gages and sending unit are set up to make it appear the car is running in the normal ranges but if you are at 3/4 your in big trouble or soon will be. Stay under 1/2 and your fine. The radiator is under sized for the engine and is prone to get hot if driven hard. The transmission issue and its not clear but if it twisting (the shifter) side to side front to back more than maybe 1/2 inch under load the power plant frame may be loose or broken. Could be an engine mount as well or all those things. Nothing so far is a big deal. The second turbo could be something as simple as a vacuum line as well as the engine idle issue. Theres no way someone can nail all your problems via the net but there are my basic thoughts. The testing and diagnosis involved here are far to involved to describe on the net. Have a 3rd gen guy have a look. Don't pay attention to some on the site, big mouths normally means small brain etc. and next week he may be your friend when he needs something.
