Pre Mix oil and gas??? is this a good idea?

I read an article from http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/oil.html#PRE
and it says it's a good idea to mix in oil with your gas to keep everything well lubed at all times. I haven't heard anyone talk about it or seen any post about this so I was wondering if this is something anyone does?

if so on a downpiped RX7 how often and what oil should i use.

I would do a search, I've came across countless posts about using marvel mystery oil and protek r with every fillup. The previous owner of my FD used MMO, and I am going to continue using a 4oz bottle every fillup.
