Have been talking to a few people about downpipes and midpipes, and I was telling them about what I have been using. It's a megan racing downpipe/midpipe combo I bought off of beay for 90 bucks plus 40 shipping. I contacted Megan Racing to see if they would set up a group buy if enough people were interested, here is what they said:

Anyone interested? This is a 3" stainless steel mirror polished downpipe midpipe combo with METAL gaskets. I currently run the set on my FD.

****, i think RX7 store downpipe and midpipe combo is made by megan racing. (the midpipe had the small logo tached on) I feel bad buying it from rx7 store now... 275, what a rip!

Before everyone jumps for joy... do a search for the Megan racing dp/mp combo and see what turns up. The price is very good, but the fitment is something to be desired. I have this combo and the build quality etc... Is fine but you will need to grind away some of the welds on the dp flange and the mp <-> dp flange doesn't meet up perfect.

Don't mean this post to ward anyone off from buying this combo. But if you do, expect to put a little extra effort into getting them to fit.

I have this set. I had to bore out a mounting hole (or two) on the engine side of the downpipe for proper fit.

-=Honestly it was a PITA, but I'd rather do the work than pay $200+ for just a downpipe=-

I didn't install the midpipe (didn't want to have boost creep) So the downpipe with the provided gasket will bolt up to the stock midpipe. If I could do it all over again I would have just test fit it before I set it off for thermal coating. All in all a great buy.

I didn't have to do any grinding on mine. Some people have pm'd me on the suspension the guy at megan racing was talking about. It is their race series suspension here is the info on that:
