? port wastegate w/ street-port, resonated mid-pipe, DP, cat-back, stock twins, PFC ?
I'm installing a street-ported engine with 4x850cc injectors, with a DP, resonated mid-pipe, cat-back, on stock twins with a very conservative Steve Kan tune on a PFC.
So the only thing different from my previous setup is the street-ported engine, and the possibility of a free-flowing intake system (e.g, Pettit or Apexi-style intake).
If I keep the STOCK intake airbox (big restriction), I don't think I need to port the wastegate.
What if I go to a Pettit or Apexi-type intake (less restriction), do I need to port the wastegate ?
FWIW, I have never experienced boost-creep before (stock airbox/intake w/Cheap Bastard mod); stock engine; 4x850cc injectors; stock turbos, DP, resonated mid-pipe, cat-back, PFC).
If install BNR Stage III sequential turbos, I assume I'd have to port the wastegate.
TIA,

Just open the hole to 1.24 inches and there is no need to guess .The cost is small and you are done with it .To be sure that you are safe if you turn the boost up on the BNRs open the hole to fit the bigger door that you installed .I use the prespool door on some jobs and make even bigger doors when needed .
