All of the times I told Vosko to just fix it, I didn't even know he had been t-boned. I thought he was trying to drift and just hit the front passenger quarter panel side. Am I missing something?

Was this recent? That's some crazyness. Another one bites the dust . That one looked like it was taken care of too.

The huge front mount pic w/o the snow is Vosko.

Don't know who the other one is. Vosko had HUGE hp numbers, and you could say he 'took care of it', to say the least.

I thought he was parting it out because it was totaled. That is just a couple g's and maybe a crooked frame, but they have machines for that.

There's no freakin' way Vosko's car in the 2nd set of pictures is totalled. That's why I was always greatly surprised when he mentioned parting it out. Seemed like a huge waste.

ok ok ok

my car was totalled. it was fixable but totalled. the cost to have it fixed the way i want would have been in the $15000 range.......most people have seen. i try to do something right or not at all. honestly i had spent $40k on my car already to invest another $15k was simply way too much. there is a certain point where you have to cut your losses. i hated to do it but sometimes you have to make a decision. i loved the car and still miss it terribly... but yes everything but the PPF,trans and fuel system are sold. my other reasoning goes that if i ever had to sell my car.......i'd realistically only get $18k for it..... i looked around and found quite a few single turbo cars built going for as much as it was going to cost to repair mine...modded rx7's are a buyers market not a sellers market.

the car that i am selling i purchased for parts. my original intent was to purchase an automatic with low miles and convert it to stick and start modding from there. i honestly only found one FD i wanted and it was going for $18k. very clean 94 R2 yadda yadda. i still own a 90 T2 that needs tons of work and money but at the moment i am driving my blazer and a 90 240sx with an sr in it. its good to have a roomate that specializes in sr swaps

i will own another FD. i am on the lookout every day!!!!

oh yeah there was no passenger in the other FD... he walked away

somebody just me this link. if a company or person wants to sponsor me another FD i'm all for it. although when my FD was running, i couldn't get a sponsor or anything........racing my FD was fun but dissappointing at the same time. any one who says racing is easy hasn't done it....not cheap either

anyway anymore questions and i'l lreply back

How do you total your car like that and come back here?...not saying it's a bad thing that you did...it's just that if I did that and had invested so much in it I probably wouldn't look back. Trying to put it all behind me....But I guess when the FD bug bites it bites hard. Godda get anodda one

Now I understand why you'd not want to fix the beast. I agree w/ you about the resale value.

15,000$ to fix that?

With what, an 8000$ repaint of the entire car or something?!

it needed new headlight assy, front bumper, passenger side frame rail, paint, intercooler, fix crack on exh manifold, new hood, time on a frame machine, so many little things add up! trust me......not cheap! one company estimated $10k with NO NEW PARTS!
