POLL: Stock or Modded ?

Just a question...do you have mods or are you bone stock.

for clarification....A new stereo is stock, a shiftknob is stock... tires are stock too..

Anything like Intake, catback, performance clutch, ecu, ETC qualifies as modded.

You are welcome to list your mods if you like, but its not required...please vote!

Actually, my car is far from stock. Short of a V8 transplant, it is highly modified nevertheless.

Before & After discovering the rx7forum

By the poll definitions my car was slightly modified prior to "discovering" the RX7 forum... now I guess it's heavily modded thanks to all of the great advice from members and sweet deals on perf. parts in the parts section. Next mod will probably be a set of BNR special sauce twin turbos!

Lightbulb Most mods are necessity!!

Never really planned to do much modification but for some reason this thing just keeps breaking. As things break I am replacing them with more reliable aftermarket parts. I mean, if you are going to go through the motions of replacing these high dollar parts, you might as well get some performance and looks out of it.

Radiator blew, replaced with full aluminum koyo. Taking radiator out, broke intake box (heat and age), replacing with M2 CF.

Exhaust plugged up (precat, stock cat), replaced with Bonz DP and High Flow Cat.

Exhaust tip broke off from age (and a little pressure), replaced with Apex Dual N1.

Brakes are on the list, so much more flow now probably have to upgrade computer, then injectors, fuel system, turbos, and you just don't seem to stop once you get started.............................

I'm moderately modded by your definition, and I'm really happy with my car right now. My goal was to take a truly great sports car, and try and improve it in an all around fashion. I've made upgrades to the engine, brakes, suspension, and of course, cooling and reliability mods.

Like I said, I'm very happy with my car as it sits right now, but I do have a long wish list of future mods

When all is said and done, I plan on putting down at least 400rwhp. For now though, I'm slightly modded in preperation for the power. Can't wait until winter is over.

i guess im one of the sad ones heh anyway when things brake i upgrade heh. 99' spec turbos, cusco downpipe, pettit intake, alum air sep tank, and on jan 9th shes going to kdr for a fluidine rad and if dave doesnt find anything wrong with her im gonna treat her to a PFC... but he always seems to find something.

so as of now i guess im moderate, but i hope down the line ill be heavily (i dont know about single turbo though, hehe i think the power surge would kill me)

I don't remember everything I have. I guess I'm decently modified to heavily modified - I got all bolt-ons except stock ignition. running a streetport with a BNR "secret weapon" hyrid twins running sequentially (at KDR waiting to be installed)- dyno coming in mid January. I got a bunch of non-go-fast stuff too(fuel upgrades, 18 inch rims, gauges) - but that stuff doesn't make your FD go faster - it's much easier to read a sig that has "streetport, bolt-ons and nothing else"
