anything over 14lbs on the stockers produces huge amounts of heat

Its the exhaust side of the turbo that takes punishment from heat and if it goes its only going down your exhaust pipes not into the motor. It is possible to "blow up" a turbo by overboosting (I'd say upwards of 18-20psi) but its very rare, I've only heard of one case. Even then, if the intake side of the turbo let go the IC would more than likely trap anything.
My fun fact would be......
1995's were the only 3rd gen year where the buyer could order and specify the equipment you wanted. You could have ordered a base with a sunroof if you wanted it. I bought mine from the original owner and this is who he told me. They still designated it as base, R2, PEP but it didnt HAVE to fall under the same equip guidelines as previous years because you could special order any 95 with equipment add ons. Not many were done from what I've seen but supposedly it was possible.

The FD came with 5 spoke wheels made 2 different styles. One... has a rounded edge when you reach around back of the spokes and Two... has a squared edge when you reach aorund back of the spokes. The second having a tendency to produce stress fractures.
The CYM on some came with chrome wheels.

The stock bov is the loudest bov I have personnaly heard for a FD.
It also makes different noises from a whoosh to a wistle. here is a little example.
http://efi.efiunlimited.com/Premiere2.wmv
BTW: It's higher pitch and louder in real life (just like the HKS SuperSequential), my camara is in the rear hatch and all the sound is a little wacked out.

JDM RX-7s dont have primary Cats in the downpipe.
JDM RX-7s dont have headlight washers !
The Recaro carbon/kevlar bucket seats found in the JDM RZ model actually came from a JDM special edition MX5 (Miata) as Mazda couldnt afford to commission Recaro to make a bucket specifially for the RX.
JDM RX-7s are limited to 112mph
....until you chip them

Also there are actually MORE than 3 fan settings, EACH fan is capable of three speeds and are controlled independently. The ecu is capable of at least 4 settings, 5 if you count BOTH OFF as a setting.![Big Grin](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

The ECU is only capable of activating fan relay no 2 & 4, and the lead is spliced together such that it cannot activate them independantly. Its a relay, so its binary...on or off no other magic speed control pulled out of its ***. Furthermore, this means that there is no "more agressive cooling fan map" since the ECU can't control anything more than relays no 2 & 4. Plus, there's no facility for the ECU to know what the cabin fan speed is, the only wire from the A/C controls to the ECU is at pin 1E. Yes the voltage at that pin varies from 1-3v when the A/C is on, depending on what the fan speed is, but the ECU only looks for it to be less than 3 volts (the Power FC looks for it to be less than 2v, which is where a lot of people's no A/C problems come from), and it only varies when the A/C is on.

FD door skins are highly suceptible to dings, even closing the door with the tips of your fingers can cause damage. Always try to close the door using the handle.

2 one fan on low an the other med
3 one on med and one on high
4 both on High
5 BOTH OFF

Further after the RECALL FAN MOD is done there is another relay that also controls the fan and allows Key Off operation at certain temps.
But yes I should have stated that the ECU AND the Elect. Load relay TOPGETHER allow more than 3 fan operation modes
