Plastic plug for the brake pedal

Well mine took a poop and my brake lights are staying on now. Anyone know where I can pick one up ... or what the size of the hole is (ill just use a bolt if I can find the right size).

I went to Mazda but the only ones they carry now are WAY to skinny to mount in the hole correctly.

Just go to the hardware store and get a 10mm head bolt, can not remember what size/length I used (5mm X 12mm X 1.00?) and the lock washer/nut. Works fine, I can not understand why they used plastic for that.

I'll add that depending on how thick the head of the bolt is...you may need to re-adjust the brake switch. I did not need to after I did the "mod". And also, depending on how long your brake lights were on...check the lenses for cracks and warping...especially the center row lights.
