planning on getting a GT Style wing

Hey guys, i'm considering a GT style wing. I have a black FD and i was looking at some black Alumininum Spoilers and carbon fiber ones. I'm kinda leaning towards a Black alum. GT spoiler cuz its nice and cheap. Found one for $200. The thing is that what do u guys think look nicer for a support stand a Silver support stand or a black supporting stand on a black FD...

i'd go with black... but id be wary of those 'cheaper' gt wings... they're not really well built... id be scared of it breaking at high speeds

I've bought a GT style wing from APR ( If I remember its name correctly)
tell ya what, they are ugly as hell, I was really into GT style wings, but my exp tells me if you are not getting the top one, like the Mazdaspeed's or C-West's (my .02, Mazdaspeed's looks better) you will regret buying a GT wing. My 7 is a 95' black touring, those polished aluminum GT wings just don't fit, I bought that wing, but I didn't even try to put it on, 'cos IT IS ugly when I held it at the back.so, basiclly, my suggestion is if you get enuff money, get the top one, if you don't, try to get a combat wing, I know, right now, seems everybody has it, but it looks decent.
Sorry for those guys who has the non-mazdaspeed/non-C-west GT wings. Just my .02

I've got a black aluminum GT wing on my black 93 and it looks great! Everything fit and mounted good. Lots of compliments. I made Polished aluminum fins for the ends to replace the black ones, otherwise it is all black. Its all about personal taste, I personally cannot stand the look of plastic or fiberglass bolted to my trunk. True racers go aluminum!! Also, I've never heard of any aluminum wings breaking, but I have seen some fiberglass spoilers break just from closing the hatch hard!

If that's the wing I think it is, that's like my dream wing. I had to get something more affordable to me. I seen the Erebuni wing on a red FD and I thought to myself, now that looks good, before I knew what kind it was. So, that's how I found mine and I like it... that's my personal taste

Wink

Personally, i hate the look of gt wings. They are too riced out for me. I do like the look of the racing beat type 1 spoiler. That spoiler looks like the stock one only more aggressive. I think that it is the best spoiler out there for an fd. Just my opinion.

right now i'm kinda into the Veilside CF GT wing. i Think it looks really nice and is very thinkable for me. The alum. wing i saw was on Speedandstyles.com, they had this black alum. wing for only 199(Arospeed)..pretty cool for the price.

I looked up the C-west wing... very phat! I wish I'd had seen that before. I like that wing the best out of any that I've seen before.
