A-piller removal?

FIrst remove the rubber weatherstripping where it covers the a pillar. Just pull it off, it will snap back on. Then grab the pillar trim starting at the top. Pull toward the middle of the car from the seam where it meets the headliner. There are two plastic catches; one at the top and one in the middle. Once they are free you have to pull the trim straight up to clear the dash. I have had mine on and off half a dozen times and never broken anything.

Tip if it's a plastic pod: When you mount the pod itself with tape or whatever, mount the front edge a bit back from the a-pillar's edge. Otherwise you'll have an ugly bump in the seaming welt when you push it back into place after installing the a-pillar..
