I really like the exterior of the car and it is certainly magazine worthy. Excuse me for saying this and I am not being a hater, but your engine bay does not seem up to the task. To be honest I was actually surprised:

In the list of mods it says that the brains are an ACR boost controller? and with that you are getting 345 HP??? that's an awful precise number to be talking about flywheel HP so can you manipulate fuel curves with that? I would think that you would have a PFC.

I'm glad that an FD that still resembles an Rx-7 made into a mag. It seems that lately (except for yours and zonblits) all FDs that are features have these crazy widebodies and barely resemble an rx7 at all.

I'm sorry that thing is ugly. Nasty wheels, mis-matched body/interior parts, way to many stickers and a plane engine bay with false HP numbers.

By the way man, you might want to cover the hole on top of the intercooler duct. A lot of air is going to escape though that hole instead of going though the actual intercooler.
Not only on the stock twins, but on the stock intercooler as well - 500ps must have been a typo. I need to stay positive, so, I like the front bumper.

wait...youre right, that is the stock IC!

when i first glanced at it, i thought it was an aftermarket stock-mount intercooler...but i guess he just covered it with silver stick-on foil and put an apexi sticker on it...?

theres no way those HP numbers are correct with the mod list.

Hey guys thanks!

To answer all your questions...

-Shine brought back the rear wing and you can still get it from them.
-Its a ceramic coated intake manifold =X
-Stickers are for the sponsors... I never ever put stickers on my car.
-Stock IC and AST are there because i'm rebuilding the motor after this shoot and going with a full custom setup..
-Wheels are SBC not chrome.. it has more of a black finish.. didnt want to look like everyone else with black wheels.

Yep, the only smic that could pass off as stock is the arc smic (regular, not race version) and that mounts a bit different. It is a dead give away since the stock duct is used without modification.

what's the excuse for the super-exaggerated horse power numbers?

so is it "345hp" or "500ps (493hp)"

the article states both, and both seem very unrealistic based on the mods.

with that mod list, i would say yes, unless that pull was lean as %#$@!

stock intercooler...no FPR...only 1000cc secondaries...no ignition upgrades...ect...

i'm sorry but unless your 345 pull was dangerously lean, i highly doubt you pulled that number with that mod list...

do you have any proof? like a video or graphs? otherwise i still call B.S.

i'm not "hating" on what the car looks like. my gripes have nothing to do with "taste" in parts...

i'm questioning the power numbers based on his mod list.

I hope you're missing a midpipe or HFC in that list or else the 345whp is not believable. If you do have one then I dont see why people think that number is exaggerated. Lots of people make that number with a streetport on those same bolt-ons easily.

So I left out the small minute details... I'm running a walbro fuel pump, custom 3" mid pipe made by SP and a 76mm to 90mm exhaust rear section and lots of other stupid things that aren't in there like an HKS twin power. Do I need to mention that im running 1 bar of boost and NGK R7420 Heat range 9 plugs? Bonsai Racing 3 bar map sensor.. Just trying to get the jist of it and whats off the top of my head.

I dont think the magazine is going to put that long of a mod list on there just to justify what I make power wise. If you guys want to hate then hate all you want! To each there own. If you want to compare apples to apples then you should post up your own car... I just wanted to post up some pictures but no one appreciates anything on this forum which to me is a joke.

I make 402 and 270 on my S2000 with a supercharger and stock header, cat and exhaust... Anything is possible.

The hello kitty sticker is a inside joke...
