Do you get a lot of brake dust with the EBS's? I get virutally none with the HPS's.

BTW - Looks great on your car. Really like the tire package.

The rotors, once again, look great. And the wheels are amazing. But i gotta ask, whats with the newer wheels up front and the older wheels in the rear?

I bought the wheels from a forum member, '98TypeRS

I still get brake dust but it was greatly reduced compared to stock pads

I was at a drifting event in that pic, that's why I was using the old wheels/tires in the rear

Had a hunch that you bought the wheels from him. I have been looking for a set of those for awhile now. Again, great wheels on a great car!

well i was referring to the ones that come plated to be rust resistant already..i was reading on how customers are still experiencing rust even after 1 week of installation..thats why i wanted to know if it was legit or not..

I have experienced no rust what so ever on my set. I've had them on for a year now (about 1000 miles ).

I see you have the slots facing reverse of mine, does it make any difference which way they are installed?

I sucked at drifting, it was my first time, I don't know if there are any pics, maybe somebody from the organizers posted them on their website. I'll have to check

Thats what i wanted to know. I thought the slots/dots are supposed to be flowing away from the rotor, like towards the backside of the car. I see some people do that but some people the other way.

Does it depend on where your caliper is? Cause mine is installed like that, i hope it wasnt done in reverse.

Upgraded to them on my R1 18 months ago and four rotors with 2 sets of Axxis Ceramic Pads (Blue Kind) and SS brake lines was $220.45 shipped to me. They are awesome. Matter of fact about 2 weeks ago I was pulled over by a state trooper one night doing 110MPH and between me seeing a car coming and braking his radar gun clocked me at 111 and after a 1 second delay in the gun it clocked me at 68mph so he wrote it at 68 instead of 111. Pad for my setup right there. I love these cars. They work great and the ceramic pad leaves little if any brake dust. just my $.02 worth

no it doesn't matter...what matters is the direction of the internal vanes.
