It looks beautiful. Here's the way I see cars of all types (not just FD)....if the car has exterior modifications that fits and style it's aimed to be...a job well done. In this case, your style is the aggressive and achieves it...from the spoiler to the whole complete Veilside body kit (I've always called it the "Devil" look w/ the pointy lines). I've seen cars of all types out there with body kits, wings, flares, wheels, etc that do not match and has no real "style." So not only is your car with a aggressive physical stance..but nice engine wise too (who has a perfectly sound FD engine in and out without problems?).
But the most important thing DVSseven, if you're happy with it..that's all that matters. Your heart an passion went into designing it from day of getting the ride. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes which builds the RX-7 community we have now - respect (hopefully) to one another's cars.

If you want our thoughts and responses, please don't get butthurt over what they actually are. I hear enough crap about owning a "Green" sports car, and I'm fine.
My opinion: That kit is ugly. Again, my opinion. I can have it, and you can ignore it. Mazda did everything right from the factory as far as any kit is concerned. I'm not alone in this, there are tons of people that know that anything veilside is outlandish and "ghey".
But, it's your car, YOUR opinion matters. Just drive what you like and like what you drive. If it helps I think your rims are pretty cool, I loved those for a while. Much better than any zillion spoke mesh rims people are putting on every import nowadays (BLAH)...

Yeah I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no hard feelings here. Just caught a little off guard I guess. I honestly just havent ever had any negative feed-back on my 7 before, so just a little hard to swallow. But its cool no biggy....

That body kit sucks.
Thats what I would say without that paint job. Honestly I've always hated that kit but with that paintjob it makes it look soo much better, maybe its because of lighting. I can't see the car without the wing. Keep it the way it is.

Sorry, but I'm another front end and spoiler hater. IMO, it makes the front end look too long. Plus, it looks like a kit most people put on their civics. I prefer a more subtle look for the 7s. Simple rounded lines to match the rest of the car. But hey, that's why it's YOUR car and not mine.

Nice clean car, I could never keep my car that clean even thought its always in the garage. I agree with some of the guys here... lose the front bumper and the car will deffinitely stand out more.

I can't say that I like the car, or the kit anyway. Rims are sweet but I just can't get into the Veilside body kit. I just think the stock body lines are beautiful without huge pieces of fiberglass hanging off. But as everyone has said, to each his own.

whoa... i can't believe there's so many flames on a authentic veilside full kit. veilside's style doesn't necessary fit my taste other than their supra kit. but There's an audience for everything. I think the kit and the color combo does look quite unique. I think some nice clean vinyle typography of logos with japanere style alignments and maybe CF hood will do the trick. I personally would only use white stickers w/ very clean rows of logotypes down the door below the mirror. but hey, as long as its tastefully done, just about anything can work. much props to getting the real thing.
have u done much engine mods? it'll be cool to see some pix

Your car looks fine. I think you did a very clean and respectable job. The people talking **** about your car are just jealous and upset that you didn't do what they would've done because they can't do it themselves. When more people take the time and money to do stuff they want to do, you'll find more love for your efforts. Until then take consolation that at least one fellow FD owner appreciates your clean 7.

Thanks Link And Yaye, I Will See If I Can Get A Pic Of The Engine Bay Up Soon. I Have Done Just About Everything To The Car That There Is To Do With The 99 Turbo's. Im Just Waiting To Put In New Injectors, Then I Install A Pettit Large Intercooler, And Have To Decide Between The Pfc Or Wolf 3d For A Computer....
