No, mid summer I ran 11.54@124 with a 1.7X short time (low boost). End of the season I was starting to get a few things worked out while cutting sub 1.5 short times (spinning the tires) with two broken rear shocks. I'll have a few changes this year and hopefully pulling the wheels.

This was a 1.55 short time, check out the wheel speed on that launch. Not right!

As for you flamers, times were not bad in comparison to the rest of the field. there was a twin turbo 350z with nos that was running 12.1s and 2s and a 300zx with the same setup that ran low 12s most of the night with the exception of a 11.95 once. These were experienced racers wheras this was only my second time out.

temp was in the 80s and high humidity.

the bottom line is people are laying down mid to low 12's with those modifications. no im not one of them, but neither are you when you should be.

thanks for the encouragement - im quickly realizing that for some people this forum is not about the cars or the discussion - its about pumping up their egos. the only way they can feel good about themselves is by slamming others.

People that allow themselves to be slammed on a public forum only encourage such behavior.....Eric is a ***** at heart, he simply hides behind his Gorrilla outfit to scare people. Don't let him push you around...who cares if his car runs faster than yours....all that juice has made his nuts small, his car is his compensation.

Ignoring is not encouraging.

I have never claimed to be an expert drag racer and therefore could care less what others say about my abilities. I know that there are many out there who could do better and many who would do worse.

as i said earlier, ive run a better time (12.8) with drag radials so I know that with some practice on the slicks I could do low 12's or better.

the point of the post was not to highlight my racing prowess - it was simplly to show my car looking dragged out with some borrowed slicks. thus the title.

Hey i think the Mazdaspeed decals look cool, and with some practice you'll be just fine, i'd be happy to run high 12's Good job and I hope you're having fun with your rx7.

All we're saying is 12's isn't considered to be fast on this side of the world. Maybe you're king of the road wherever you are but not here.

Just turn that boost up and start leaving hard.

Hmmmmm.........Still trying to figure out who the hell would sponsor you to drag race with your setup? I KNOW it wasnt mazdaspeed(which is the big sticker), so were you caught up in your story a little or care to list your "sponsors"?

My only "sponsor" is the local Mazda dealership. I was able to negotiate the sponsorship deal not because of my "setup" but because my name is on the building.

So 11's are fast on that side of the world? You do realize people have ran faster times with less mods than you right? You really have no room to talk when your not doing much better yourself. I think it's time you unwrap yourself from your ego and stop being an ***. All typhoon did was post up his time and "drag attire." If he's happy with his times, then let him be. Anywho, keep it up typhoon, with more pratice you'll get better.

I think it's time this thread gets closed...

typhoon why dont you post up a thread so people can help you out. I didnt know you trapped only 108 your car is really down on power for your mods. 12.9 is excellent driving for that trap in my experience.
