Photo Request/sound: FD3S Blitz Nur Spec exhaust.

Hey guys,

I have being trying to do research on this exhaust. Ive looked at every thread under the search. They are all from 2002-2003 and the URL's and vids dont work.

So far these are the specs that i know:

Nur Spec V
weight == 8kg
pipe dia == 80mm
muffler == 160mm
outlet == 105mm
volume at idle == 108db
voulme at 3000rpm == 114db

I hear that it sounds really deep and throaty. It doesnt look too bad from the few pictures i have seen. But i would like to do more research before i purchase it.

So, please post pictures of all differant angles of the blitz nur spec exhaust on an FD.

If you have good videos that would be cool to, expecially in car or drive by stuff!

Thanks in advance.

Thowing 2 cents in, it's VERY loud. Sound wise it's similar to any of the canister-style exhausts, like the N1 or HKS Hiper. Pretty much looks like them too, except the can is a little smaller - part of the reason why it's so loud, not a lot of muffler there .

That said, most any cat-back is tolerable with a stock main cat. When you go hi-flow or midpipe, that's where the big difference comes in on sound.

Well i was planning on running the blitz nur with an 80mm DP/80mm midpipe... If that is too loud then i was going to get a high flow cat or something.

Anybody have any good pics??

Here's a clip of mine back when I had it but I recently sold it for a Racing Beat DT. I have tons of photos too but they're on my backup CD and it's getting late. Will post photos tomorrow if none are posted yet.

One word; LOUD!

I don't really like it. I mean, it's not bad, but it's just too loud for me.

Sweet, i actaully like the look of it a lot.. i wish the tip was like 90mm, but its a 105mm is pretty small for most single exhausts.

Hey Specter328, would you be so kind as to take pictures from far away.. like 30-50ft from the car? I would like to see what it looks like from a distance.

Thanks in advance!
