Pettit Racing cool charge II intercooler?

Is anybody running a Pettit Racing cool charge II intercooler? How is the fit, finish and quality? Like the ASP but have an efini y pipe and do not want to have to modify the pipe.

The pettit coolcharge II is one of the better mid-size SMIC's out there and many people want it over the coolcharge III that pettit sells currently. I don't have it on my car, but I was very impressed with the quality when I saw one in person. And they flow well with little pressure drop.

I have the unit on my car. I noticed that the car is a little faster and when the turbo's kick in there more "omph" to it. I'm very happy with it since i didn't want to modify the car too much. I think if you purchased it you wouldn't be disappointed.

However, you should wait to see what you want to do with your car. I've heard of alot of people selling it for a FMIC or a V-mount setup or a GIGANTIC SMIC. That said, i like mine and i don't plan on replacing it in the near future if ever.

The old style Coolcharge II and the current Coolcharge III are essentially the same thing as the ASP medium and large. However, the current Coolcharge II is a completely different design and looks to be inferior than the old style. No facts to back that statement up, just basing it on the appearance of the design.

Old style Pettit Coolcharge II. There were some fitment issues: Had to cut the Efini Cross-over pipe and stock elbow a little to get it to fit.

these ICs require the removal of the stock air box correct ? Is there any aftermarket SMIC that allows keeping the stock airbox ? I got the racing beat duct and would like to keep that with the airbox

ARC small SMIC also fits with the stock airbox, don't see too many of those around though.

sweet. I dont forsee any problems with the racing beat duct because it doesn't require and mods to the IC or change anything on that side

anyone know who sells the blitz stil ?
