People with 99 spec bumpers? brake ducts or no?

I have it on both of my cars. Yes, its abvious. If you look at the lip and see the ground.
I'll be making these for the 93+ cars out of fiber glass.
The real 99 ducts require 99 underbelly.

Front splash tray, under engine connecting to front bumper. Should be used when installing '99 Front Bumper to earlier models.
FB140-56-1B0A Cover Under, Front $99.65
L & R brake cooling duct required when installing '99 RX-7 front bumper to earlier years. Design eliminates oil cooler ducting.
F138-43-64XB DUCT (L) , BRAKE AIR COOLING $58.70
F138-43-63XB DUCT (R) , BRAKE AIR COOLING $58.70
From Japanese Model 99-00 RX-7. Recommended when ordering 99-00 style front bumper assembly.
F138-50-A21 AIR GUIDE, FRONT BUMPER $29.25
99 Japanese RX-7 front bumper reinforcement. For use with F138-50-031A front bumper cover
F138-50-070B REINFORCEMENT, BUMPER $421.45
I also added a set of R Magic oil cooler ducts. They are similar to the 93-95 ducts, but are sized to fit the 99 bumper.
Im not here to debate weather you can use your old belly pan & reinforcement. Many swear by it to "save" a couple of bucks.
Nothing looks more tackey than a body kit with ducts & scoops the lead to nowhere. Whats the point of brake ducts in the front lip if they end 2 feet in fron of the brake? Plus when you veiw your car from the front & see the ground just behind the bumper??
I published the "available" parts form Mazda Motor Sports & R Magic. I didn't include the combination lights, bumper skin or fog lights.
This is what I have purchased & installed on my car.

^^I'm with you. I don't understand how people can just buy the skin and slap it on. If you're going to do it, do it right and buy all the extra peices that complete the 99 front end. Just my .02

^ my car, no brake ducts. (warning.. really big effin picture, and too lazy to resize)
i'll get them eventually, but you cant really even tell theyre not there.. and my car runs without them.. not to mention my turbos are dying and my motor has ~87k miles on it.
theyre on my list of things to buy, just not very high up on it.

I didn't buy and install the '99 spec brake ducts because I am considering fabricating something a little better. Maybe something similar to John Magnuson's setup, but a little better looking (sorry lol).

Good question. I would say in the past 3 years I have sold one 99 undertray. Im not sure if people are modifying the stock tray or just taking it off. I will be installing a 99 bumper tomorrow and will check if the stock tray works.
