Thumbs up Passed Emissions with flying Colors!!! Is this good?

Woot!!!

Just got finished taking the car to the WA State Emissions....

Pretty dang cool emissions testing..it's like a dyno video game. Follow the instructions, and you're in and out...

Actually kinda neat...I rev'd the tires up pretty quickly(much to the operator's chagrin)...too bad you only get to stay at 25mph.

The first gentleman at the station about went gagga when he found out it was a 93 with 90k miles on it.

So..is this an indication that the engine is doing alright?

EDIT: Not to sound like a total goofball, I know it's good, but what I mean is for the overall state of tune, is this a good indication that the engine is performing well?

All of the equipment is the original OEM.

It's a bad sign. You are not living in a free state. Move to one without emissions laws!

If you don't care about emissions laws, then it's a good thing. You car appears to be in good shape.

Yeah, mine did the same thing. Was the lowest the tech said he'd seen in years. And that was WITH a coolant system pressure leak and the fans going every seven minutes (lights on until test, turned 'em back on AS SOON as it was over!!)

Also, my pre-cat had separated and shifted back, but NOT broken up and invaded the main cat. I know the pre cat is only warm up emisions, but still neat that it passed SO WELL. I like to think we have cars that are cleaner than some of the econoboxes being sold NEW!

I had a dual N1 on my 88, when the guy put the thing in one of the tail pipes, he couldn't get any readings at all. Had to stuff rags up one muffler, and stuff rags around the tester thing in the other muffler just to get any emissions to read on the computer.

No I didn't have an exhaust leak, it was all comin out where it was supposed to! That car never gave me annny problems at all.
