Passed Emission Test

Just got my car to pass the emission test here in brazoria county, here are my numbers.

O Yea used only the Stock Exhuast ( Main Cat, Pre-Cat and the Air Pump) Hooked the air pump right into the cat that it.

THe Numbers

High Speed (25mph) 2nd Gear

-----Standard----Current Reading
HC-----132----------85
CO-----0.73--------0.22
CO2----none-------8.3
O2------none-------9.1
Nox----945----------91
Dulution-->6.0-------8.52

Low Speed (15mph) 1st Gear

----Standard-----Current Reading
HC-----136----------85
CO-----0.76--------0.16
CO2----none-------8.5
O2------none-------8.8
Nox----1045----------72
Dulution-->6.0-------8.66

These are some LOW numbers, have done a cleaned fuel injectors,new plugs,new wires,new coils,non-seq mod, fan mod,pulled most of the relays, Running only 6-7psi of boost, all this on a 120,000 mile motor.

Just wondering why they where so low.

The engine is fairly emission friendly if it's running properly. It's nice to see your original engine running so well. Good compression, good fuel spray, good spark with a functional cat help you keep it low if your stock. Hooking your air pump directly to the cat is probably why your readings are so low. I got 103,000 on my original engine and it purrs nice too. I would like to smog it just to see what it gets but there isn't any smog testing in west Texas. Oh well I'm not going to complain.

May I ask what hose(s) you used to connect the air pump directly to the cat? Did you piece something together, have a muffler shop do it, etc. I'm planning on doing the same thing. Congrats BTW
