paddle shift for automatic transmission

Fellow Automatic Owners:

Based on an earlier thread, I have been keeping in touch with Twist Machine regarding their paddle shifters. Originally they did not have an application for our cars, but they have quickly developed a "universal" kit.

To make it work with our cars, we still need to find a Grant adapter hub. Has anyone found and installed a Grant adapter on their car? If so, what part number? If not, does anyone know the shaft diameter and spline count for the RX-7?

In sum, for parts we will need:
1) Grant Adapter Hub: (splined in the center; three bolt holes around the center)
2) Universal Paddle Shifter from Twist Machine (attaches to the three bolt holes).
3) Steering Wheel Adapter (5 bolt (Grant) or 6 bolt (Sparco/Momo) steering wheel to paddle shifter adapter)
4) Steering Wheel (any Grant, Sparco, or Momo 14” (350mm) steering wheel)
5) Transmission Control Unit (PCS brand recommended)

I will pass along any information I learn from you all to Twist Machine, and conversely I will post information from them to this thread. Once we think we have the appropriate part numbers, I will probably go forward with this project and post updates including photos.

Unfortunately, I will have only sporadic internet access over the next week, but I will keep up with the discussion as best as possible.

Thank you in advance for your helpful responses.
