Wings are a visual preference (stock wing/no stock wing) has no real performance gain. Can't say what the larger wings will do for you and agin it's a personel visual thing. So if your asking the forum to decide what goes on your car you will get plenty of responses. It still comes down to what you want to do with your car.

I's say go for it, unless you plan on going with a '99 spec front bumper. I have a huge fetish for white, wingless, '99 spec FD's.

I say put it on.
I have a white wingless FD as well, looks just like yours actually, just lowered and some other stuff. Anyways i honestly want a wing very bad for mine. But of course, i also do like the wingless look. Actually, i can't really make up my mind on which i like better.
To tell you the truth, i just hate thinking of drilling holes in my nice and flat hatch.
Anyways, i'm sure if you do it, it'll look great, and if you dont, it'll still look great. So good luck makin a decision, and if you do put it on, post some pics. It's always good to represent the white FD's of the world.

I read the R1 wing creates drag???
I think light colored wingless FD's are a little strange looking...now black FDs withrims, 99 front...maybe a widebody, skirts, etc...WOW

The people are saying "0" benefit as a blanket statement are wrong.
Little benefit at the speed limit or below I can understand and agree with.
Personal preference, again I agree with.
But some of you are just plain ignorant to make a comment that it has "0" benefit.

It Just Feels Right
It will look good either way. Personally I'd say your car looks good the way it is (cleaner without the wing).
I leave mine on because it came that way (R1). I'd probably prefer either a diff wing or none at all, but I'm resisting the temptation to **** with it just because it's stock with only 70k miles.

In a book about racecar aerodynamics they had a example using a R1 and they stated that the front lip provided downforce and that the rear wing provided no downforce and they provided the numbers and i can get them for you guys later
